The buzz on Paderborn, Germany indie rock outfit Kid Dad continues to build with the release of the quartet’s new single, “The Wish of Being Alone.”

The band’s fourth single follows their 2017 debut EP ‘Disorder’ which lead to them playing festivals across Europe this summer and on the road with acts such as Taking Back Sunday, earning them a rabid fanbase and a reputation as one of the most exciting new rock bands in Europe.

It is their quietest, yet most intense song so far. Frontman Marius Vieth says, “The first demo of “The Wish Of Being Alone” sounded completely different compared to the how the song sounds now. We liked the first demo, but we were not fully convinced yet, so we spent one night in our studio and re-wrote the song. It all came very naturally and we now feel like this is our most intimate song to date.”
