George Maple today unveils the video for new single Kryptonite”, shot in Kiev by acclaimed director Lisa Paclet with Alex Lamarque as DOP (Daft Punk “Around the World”,  Kylie Minogue “Come Into My World”)

Celebrating freedom of expression and spontaneity, the video plays out like a scene from a modern day Studio 54, with Maple suspended and harnessed in a swing above a club of revelers indulging in libertine abandon as the euphoric disco anthem ignites around them.

In Maple’s own words:  “This song for me is about letting go and falling in love with life beyond what I could control. I was connecting with new people and having new experiences and I wanted the video to capture this energy. I also wanted the video to feel a little ridiculous, confronting and most of all, fun. I was inspired by a lot of the greats, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, George Michael, Janet Jackson. I feel they always tended to capture this kind of warmth with all they created. It was not about selling, it was about inspiring community and expression.”
