Pain has a face. Ominous words, but according toFalcifer vocalist Stephanie Marlow, there’s it hope behind the hurt. “The term is about coming to realise that sometimes you can be your own worst enemy. Self doubt, regret, and bitterness come from pain; but pain is only temporary. By becoming self aware, pain can turn into growth, a development of self worth, and forgiveness.” Today the Adelaide four piece are proud to announce their signing to Greyscale Records, as well as their new EP Pain, which will be released on March 6th, with pre-orders available HERE.

The EP is the follow up to their 2017 demo release Theta, to which bassist Alex Henderson expresses the band’s desire to further solidify a sound that is truly their own. “We wanted to experiment musically and add a bit more of a hardcore element to our heavy sound. We think it swings hard and might catch a few people off guard with the sound we have produced. The lead single Pain is our “grooviest” track, as we wanted to share a song that has a bit more pace than some of those on our demo. It’s been a long time since we have released any form of new music and we wanted to come out swingin’”

After a massive set at Invasion Fest early this year, and now joining the Greyscale family, 2020 looking exciting for the young act and Henderson is ready to show the Australian hardcore scene what they’ve got. “Falcifer isn’t slowing down. Greyscale are THE label to be on if you’re a heavy band so we couldn’t be more excited to be part of the family. Falcifer x Greyscale is a match made in hardcore heaven.”
