In an anticipated announcement, it has today been revealed that the fourth and most intimate instalment of Sir Elton John’s exclusive Australian Once In A Lifetime concert series will take place at Hobart’s Derwent Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 27 September.

It is almost thirty years since Elton John performed in Hobart, and he will return to the city this September to deliver a Greatest Hits set at one very special concert.

Sir Elton John said, “I played in Hobart twenty seven years ago… which I admit is far too long. I simply cannot wait to return to Tasmania and its wonderful audiences. My band and I are really looking forward to being in Australia this September – I love coming back.”

Sir Elton will play in Hobart in addition to two already announced North Queensland shows atMackay’s BB Print Stadium on Friday 22 September and Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns onSaturday 30 September, along with a performance at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium on Sunday 24 September; all will be the largest music events ever to be hosted at these outdoor venues.

In the 50th Anniversary Year of the Elton John / Bernie Taupin writing partnership, Sir Elton promises a spectacular and memorable concert to be enjoyed by the whole family.
