Eliza & The Delusionals today return with their brand new, sweet-yet-punchy tune ‘Half Empty Girl’. The band will be joining Tasmanian punks Luca Brasi on their upcoming album tour, hitting up stages in Launceston, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

‘Half Empty Girl’ was recorded, produced, and engineered by Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson, and mastered by Matt Redlich (Ball Park Music / Emma Louise / Holy Holy).

Talking about the track, vocalist Eliza Klatt explains Half Empty Girl is written about feeling confused with yourself and your decisions in life. I really relate to this as a young person making a career in music where a lot of people can second guess you and tell you how you should do things, which can sometimes make you second guess yourself. The song captures these feelings and the pursuit of better self-understanding.

“The recording process for this felt like a pivotal moment in our career. It was an unreal experience to work with Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy), and just hearing how much the song was re-shaped creatively from when it was first written and demoed. It was super inspiring to hear the full potential of a song I wasn’t sure we’d ever release!”

Kicking off 2018 with a spot on the Byron Bay Falls Festival line-up and supporting Tiny Little Houses nationally on their album tour, the Eliza & The Delusionals momentum only seems to be growing.
