Hardcore heavyweights and certified party purveyors Deez Nuts are set to light up Oxford St when they launch their upcoming fifth album Binge & Purgatory at AM//PM next month. Taking over The Burdekin on April 22, the evening marks AM//PM’s first Saturday night event – brought forward following the huge response to the recent announcement of their inaugural party on Good Friday Eve.

The ‘Unfuckwithable’ four-piece Deez Nuts will headline an evening of fist-pumping, gang vocals and catchy-as-hell hits as part of their intimate run of club shows, joined by rising NSW metal bands Honest Crooks and Diamond Construct on support duties. UNFD label-mates and all-round legends Hellions will also be in attendance for their official Sydney after party, as they celebrate kicking off their largest national tour to date.

Tickets are $15+BF and on sale now via Oztix

A selection of the finest (and saddest) nostalgic emo tunes and party anthems will infiltrate the airwaves across three levels and multiple bars, with all the classics from My Chemical Romance, to Enter Shikari and Bring Me The Horizon bound to materialize as Sydney’s alternative community relives the golden era of emo. Drink specials on the night include $6 Coors beers and $7 Sparkke brews, the latter a nod to AM//PM’s ongoing efforts to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive club night, and highlighting their support of gender equality and the importance of sexual consent.

Joining forces to form The Neighbourhood, Toby ‘Norman’ Bramley, Dawson Michaels and Thomas Milgate are three passionate promoters who over the past decade have worked across live music events, weekly club parties and festival afterparties to bring Sydney some of the cities most infamous parties, the world’s best-loved bands and countless unforgettable guest DJ sets. Following the success of Haus Party on Australia Day, The Neighbourhood present AM//PM to celebrate the music they love, and the music you grew up with. Emo forever!
