With less than a month until Deafheaven hit Australian shores, Melbourne heavy two piece DIVIDE AND DISSOLVE have been added as the main support.

Divide and Dissolve’s art practice includes decolonising, decentralising, disestablishing, and destroying white supremacy. Divide And Dissolve are Takiaya Reed & Sylvie Nehill, a heavy two-piece band based in Narrm (Melbourne, Australia).

The pioneering duo use drums, guitar, saxophone, and live effects to create music designed to reshape the experiences of space and time for the listener. They are renowned for their bone crushing wall of amps that take over the room, creating a powerful and unforgettable experience unlike any other. Performing sold-out shows at home and abroad, the duo have been making some serious waves in Melbourne’s underground scene since dropping their scorching debut Basic in 2017 and the release of their latest LP Abomination (on Dero Arcade).
