Perth’s Daybreak are returning to the fore of heavy Australian music today with the video for their brand new single Lost Sentience. The track features Mark Poida from Aversions Crown on guest vocals. 

 The video showcases the heavy-as-fuck song and a storyline that centres around a man locked in a dingy basement, who after taking various substances is attacked and tied down by demons and tortured – eventuating in his death. But were the attackers ever really there? 

Substance abuse and the subsequent Mental health issues are raised by the clip and the stark, grimey imagery tells a horror-filled tale. 

 

Daybreak’s new EP ‘Death Dreams’ will be released into the world on Friday July 28th.
