Following the release of ‘Shattered Thoughts’, their latest infusion of pop sensibilities, fuzz and gritty surf-rock sounds, Brisbane’s Concrete Surfers have unveiled the single’s quirky and creative new video.

“The concept of the video appeared when we were showing our friends tech deck videos to another friend and they struck the idea that we should do a film clip based off that, which we thought was really neat!” Says guitarist & vocalist Jovi Brook. “We just got some cardboard boxes some paint and dollhouse furniture from Kmart and made little sets which was actually really fun and cool seeing it all come together.”

The release also saw the band collaborate with Seamus Platt, who delivered ‘Shattered Thoughts’’ eye-catching artwork.

The video also follows the announcement that Concrete Surfers are set to ring in the New Year at Falls Festival in Byron Bay. The quartet will be joining Halsey, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure and many more to wrap up 2019 in a spectacular fashion.

We were planning a little last-minute tour around December/January, completing ignoring the possibility of Falls just because it’s such a massive festival,” Jovi reveals. “With so many great artists playing we just thought there would be no chance but then we got the offer through from our booker and we completely lost our shit. It’s a dream come true to be able to share the stage with such incredible artists on such a big festival.”
