Concrete Monkey has just released the music video for the track “Cursed Spit”, a song that is part of the newly released album, “High in Blue”, a project that builds a milestone of passage to a deeper and psychedelic phase of the band, with heavier and more technical approaches, which seek a strong introspection and questioning of contemporary lifestyle.

 

The audiovisual piece and the music criticise systematic life, where the interlocutor talks about a negative point of view of being part of a system, in which people are like pieces of the gear of society and the job market.

 

The melody and arrangements of the song bring a mechanised air, the repetitive guitar helps to bring inspiration to the members’ robotic performance. And the grunge reference of the 90s brings directly the Windows computer system of this decade.
