Cloud Control (headliner) and Dope Lemon (Angus Stone’s new project) have just been revealed as the first two acts on The Hills Are Alive Festival 2017 and gosh-darn-by-golly is the Farmer excited about that!

For those of you who don’t know, Cloud Control won the Australian Music Prize a few years ago as well as a bunch of ARIA’s. Much more importantly however, they’ve released two of the Farmer’s favourite albums in ‘Bliss Release’ and ‘Dream Cave’ and are an incredible live act. Rumour has it that new Cloud Control music is just around the corner. Stay tuned for that.

Dope Lemon is the new project from Angus Stone. Dope Lemon released their debut album ‘Honey Bones’ earlier this year and it’s easily one of the Farmer’s top albums of 2016. They also just completely sold-out every date of their debut Australian tour. We’re all in for a real treat when they grace the ol’ Hill come March.

In addition to showcasing the best up-and-coming musical talent in the country, for it’s 9th edition The Hills Are Alive is also expanding to include a dedicated Comedy Stage. Exactly which comedians will be appearing is currently top secret but is rumoured to include a mix of well known established performers and a bunch of quality newcomers.

The complete ‘Hills 2017 First Line-Up Announce’ will be revealed on Wednesday the 30th November with tickets going on sale the next day, Thursday 1st December
