On Friday, Rolling Stone premiered Cash Savage & The Last Drinks‘ new single “My Friend“, while Mistletone Records made the exciting announcement that Cash Savage & The Last Drinks will be joining the family for the much anticipated release of their third full-length album, One Of Us.

Relentlessly lauded as one of the country’s best live bands, they’ll be returning to the stage for their only Australian tour of 2016 to celebrate the forthcoming release. Having spent much time touring Europe last year, the award-winning six piece have their eyes firmly set on their home turf, which takes them to the Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales, as well as their biggest ever hometown show in Melbourne.

One Of Us follows on from Cash’s 2013 critically acclaimed sophomore, The Hypnotiser. However, this new effort is bound to be regarded as Cash’s most intricate work to date. Featuring her devastatingly honest lyrics backed by howling guitar and heartbreaking fiddle, One Of Us explores beauty, freedom and the problems that seep into even the supposedly safest of realms: family, friendship, sleep and love.

Cash’s enigmatic performances have been captivating fans since 2009, selling out shows nationwide, featuring on Australia’s most renowned festivals, including Meredith Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Dark Mofo and Wave Rock WA, plus a firestorm sell-out showcase at the Australian World Music Expo.

Don’t miss Cash Savage & The Last Drinks on their way round Australia and be sure to note the release of One Of Us, it’s set to be a stand out favourite of 2016.

One Of Us is out July 1, via Mistletone Records.
