Bridge The Border’s “Congratulations Everybody’s Gone” EP is almost upon us,with its release into the world on Friday June 29. Today, they are releasing a second cut from the EP into the world – and it’s a punk banger entitled ‘Places’!

The EP is available now to Pre-Order on all digital outlets and this single will be available from this Friday to stream at Spotify and Apple Music. The previous single “Congratulations feat. Chris Vernon is online to stream now.

Bridge The Border’s Drummer/Vocalist Darcy Handley stepped in as co-writer of this track. Handley describes Places as a “Weird sort of love song, dedicated to a future relationship. It feels like a fight, littered with anecdotes of past relationships mistakes, but the chorus reinforces a message of hope and perseverance. The lyrics in the bridge leave the story at a cliff hanger depending on how you perceive it, but the large instrumental ending can feel like the resolve of the fight or a bittersweet end to the relationship, with a melancholy piano phrase as the last lingering note.”
