Melbourne’s Branch Arterial are returning to the fore today to bring their brand new music to the world. New music that has come literally from ‘Beyond the Border’ of life and death.

In 2013, Branch Arterial began producing this, their debut album, ‘Beyond The Border’. After a fantastic start to the process, the band was forced into a hiatus after bassist Kade Turner was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident in South America that almost cost him his life. Shortly following this traumatic event, lead vocalist Nigel Jackson began battling a life threatening illness, which involved a bone marrow transplant. Both Kade and Nigel spent substantial stays in hospital. Both recovered well after extensive periods of treatment to complete the album.

2017 sees the band overcoming this adversity as they release their long awaited debut album, Beyond The Border. Their heaviest effort yet, this album once again finds the band seeking out new vital forms of musical expression within the progressive rock idiom. After climbing a mountain of hurdles the last few years, Branch Arterial are ready to share their story with the world once again and that album will see the light of day on Friday April 28th 2017.

They are returning with the first taste of that album with new single ‘Circus’. On the track, Nigel Jackson sings about his harrowing experience in hospital battling a life threatening blood disease – “Feels like I’m caught beneath the ocean, feeling like I can’t breath, feeling I’m in a dream.”

Branch Arterial’s album “Beyond the Border” is out on Friday April 28th.
