BLACKPINK, the hottest Korean female group is coming to Australia for their In Your Area world tour this June. Performing at Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena on June 13 and Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena on June 15.

BLACKPINK’s In Your Area World Tour kicked off in Seoul in 2018, selling out shows across Asia, the tour is kicking on in the US for their American debut as the first ever K-pop band to perform at Coachella, and stopover in Europe, before making its way to Australia.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 2pm Friday, March 1.

BLACKPINK’s 4 members: JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA, have drawn a lot of attention since their first debut EP ‘SQUARE ONE’ in 2016. ‘SQUARE UP’ is the highest ranked album from a female Korean act to ever crack the Billboard200, and the MV of their first single, ‘Ddu-Du Ddu-du’ was the most viewed K-pop on YouTube within the first 24 hours, it holds the title of the second most watched music video of all time with over 36.2 million in the first 24hours.

The excitement of bringing In Your Area to Australia is further amplified as it is Aussie fans’ first time welcoming home, Australian – Korean, ROSÉ. She was born in New Zealand before her family migrated to Australia, where ROSÉ grew up before she joined BLACKPINK. Fellow group member, Jennie also has roots in the region, having grown up in NZ, before returning to South Korea for her training.
