Following on from the overwhelming response to their debut single “Selfmade”, Melbourne’s Belle Haven have revealed the next single, and opening track, to their Greyscale Records debut You, Me And Everything In Between., which is is slated for release on Friday the 16th of June, pre-orders available HERE.

The track You. deals with the concept of searching for closure through the feeling of abandonment by a loved one. “Lyrically, ‘You.‘ is my attempt to change my perspective on what it was like to be abandoned by someone I loved in a time of desperate need.” Explains vocalist David Vernon of the track. “Instead of blaming solely myself as I have for years, I’d like to offer her some blame as well. Whilst ‘You.‘ was one of the last songs fully written for ‘You, Me and Everything in Between.‘, it was a huge turning point for us as creatives. We learned a lot whilst working on this song and it left us feeling incredibly excited about exploring our future works beyond YMEB..”

Belle Haven have never been ones to shy away from speaking about things close to the heart. Recently the band shared an exceptionally emotional video of David Vernon, vocalist of Belle Haven, sharing his experiences around depression. It was shared with the hope that people will further understand what has made Belle Haven what it is today, as well as encouraging people to share their own experiences and talk about mental health before it’s too late.

The band’s national tour alongside Brisbane’s Deadlights and Adelaide’s Ambleside is fast approaching, with their hometown of Melbourne already sold out and other states sure to follow suit, the band promises to make this a night to remember.
