New Zealand’s Avalanche City has announced a handful of exclusive and intimate Australian sideshows to compliment dates with Dixie Chicks on their ‘MMXVII’ Tour in March and April.

The headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth will offer Australian fans the first opportunity to witness the artist in Australia since the triumphant success of Avalanche City’s latest album, ‘We Are For The Wild Places’.

Tickets for all Avalanche City Australian sideshows are on-sale now.

Hailing from Tauranga, New Zealand, Avalanche City is the musical moniker of Dave Baxter.

The 2011 APRA Silver Scroll winner will be joined on the road by members of his touring band, performing fan favourites from ‘We Are For The Wild Places’, as well as his acclaimed breakthrough debut ‘Our New Life Above The Ground’.

“I’m super excited to be adding some intimate shows for fans in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth on the upcoming tour”, said Avalanche City’s Dave Baxter.

“It’s going to be great to finally play in-front of some Australian fans who have been very patient over the last few years!”
