Ahead of the Australian tour that starts next week, American rock duo ’68 (featuring Josh Scogin ex-The Chariot/Norma Jean) announced a slew of amazing and eclectic Australian acts opening up their shows, all in support of the new album from ’68, Two Parts Viper is now available HERE
Adelaide will see chaotic hardcore act A Ghost Orchestra and melodic outfit Coves opening the show. In Melbourne, goth mafia Pagan and emotive rockers Crusch will set the tone. Canberra is in for a treat with intensity from Starrats, heavy hits from Simple Stone, and Panic Burst providing some urgent and experimental hardcore. Amends and Maverick are bringing the melody to Sydney, Liberties will set the pace in Newcastle, and Brisbane’s finest in She Cries Wolf and Rare Words will provide a fitting beginning to the end of a massive tour.
Having toured with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Every Time I Die, and The Fall Of Troy to name a few and hitting festivals such as Louder Than Life, Carolina Rebellion, AfterShock, and Welcome To Rockville – the alt-rock veterans felt it was time to take a different approach to further define their brand.
The two-piece will return to Australia in July for a string of intimate shows kicking off in Adelaide and making their way through Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane. Tickets are on sale now.
