SKEGSS are stoked to add a string of Under 18s shows to their Holiday Food EP Tour, including Sydney event Spaghetti Fest. The announcement comes off the back of a huge reaction to their capital city run with Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane going into multiple shows and the band hearing the call from their younger fans.

Bassist Toby Cregan said “There isn’t enough shows put on for kids and all the fucking grown-ups make it hard to put on gigs for em, so bands are probs just like “Nah fuck it”. ….. We have put in a bit of extra work and made sure we can play to everyone that wants to listen and have a good time…. If I hadn’t gone to the all ages shows that my fav bands were putting on when I was a teenager I wouldn’t be in the band now, so it seems important to play these shows on the tour”.

SKEGSS released their third EP Holiday Food April 7, featuring singles Spring Has Sprung & Got On My Skateboard, both of which spent the first half of 2017 on high rotation on triple j, with Spring Has Sprung ranking in their Top 10 of 2017’s Most Played Songs for over 8 weeks. The band have their eyes firmly set on international domination and will be touring Europe and the UK for the very first time this May, including the London Calling Festival in Amsterdam, before returning to Australia to bring Holiday Food to the masses.  The Holiday Food EP is out now digitally and as a double-EP vinyl with Everyone Is Good at Something via Ratbag Records.

Along for the Under 18s shows are special guests Pist Idiots for shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, with the bill expanding for Spaghetti Fest in Sydney to SKEGSS, Baxter, Flowertruck, Fritz, Good Boy, Los Scallywags, Pist Idiots, Ruby Fields, The Pinheads & Totty.
