With the release of their acidic yet dynamic new single ‘Thread My Lips’, Melbourne’s CAST DOWN is set to begin the process of deconstructing all expectations, and cementing their reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative metal/hardcore acts.

Following a 2018 that saw them appear at the first-ever Australian Download Festival, Bigsound Festival, open for Youth Code (USA), and tour heavily with the likes of Honest Crooks and Pridelands, the group has now announced their worldwide signing to EVP Recordings (Behemoth, King Parrot, Psycroptic).

Weaving in elements of industrial into a dissonant and slamming sound, their simultaneously futuristic and retrospective approach will be on full display with the release of a debut EP in early 2019. In the meantime, Cast Down will support Harm’s Way (USA) in their hometown this month, before heading off on a national tour in February with No Zodiac (USA) and Xile (NZ).
