SWIM TEAM share POSITIVELY HOPELESS off split 7-inch with LAZERTITS, out Sept 29 on Hysterical Records. Positively Hopeless is a track about the challenges of every day anxieties and insecurities accompanied by nostalgic pop guitar tones and the most uplifting two part harmonies; it’s surf pop with a twist of gothic Americana. 

Lazertits’ contribution to the split comes in the form of Lil Sister, three minutes of sweet relief from a society filled with patriarchal, heteronormative bullshit. While Swim Team’s contribution, Positively Hopeless, is a track about the challenges of every day anxieties and insecurities.

It’s been a huge year for both Swim Team and Lazertits and with big releases from both bands planned for late 2017 and 2018, they decided to get together with veteran producer Anna Laverty to record a musical tribute to their friendship.
