Grammy-nominated, electro-experimental rock band MUTEMATH have released, WAR, an incredibly poignant depiction of the struggles happening in today’s America and is the third track from their highly-anticipated studio album PLAY DEAD out September 8th.
While unplanned, the timing could not be more perfect. “War” is a helluva gritty rock song balanced out by frontman Paul Meany’s buttery vocals. “I still can’t allow myself to fully resign to one side,” Meany says of the meaning behind the lyrics. “I keep finding counterpoints to every point and they nag me like a bill collector out to drain me of any currency of optimism. Maybe this constant trial of ideas… is life.”
