Oklahoma City’s LIFE LESSONS have just released their new EP ‘Best When in Motion‘ via You Did This/Triple Crown Records.

The band went into the studio hoping to capture the authenticity and energy of their live show and intentionally approached the record with a more of a raw sound in mind. Life Lessons draws influence from their pop-punk and emo contemporaries, but also from older bands such as Taking Back Sunday and Northstar. The new EP explores the interaction between these influences and expresses it through high energy choruses and quieter contemplative moments. The band hopes their new EP cements their place in the genre while simultaneously carving out a place of their own

In support of ‘Best When In Motion‘, Life Lessons have joined Four Year Strong on their Rise Or Die Trying 10 year anniversary tour along with Seaway, Life Pacific and Greyscale. The tour kicked off on Wednesday in Portland, ME.
