Perth dark progressive rock band AGNESIS are poised to release their debut album IN PLACES WE KEEP on Sunday, March 11 via Bandcamp and all good digital outlets. The album’s first single & video – JUNGLE, was released on Sunday February 11 along with the opportunity to pre – order the album via Bandcamp which will also allow an immediate download of the single.

 
 

At once uplifting as well as grounded, AGNESIS covers a range of thematic premises from the political to the personal, offering commentary on the existential elements of the world. Powerful, brooding progressions and crafted lyrics comprise the meat and bones of the material, interwoven with dynamic vocals and emotionally layered melodies.

In Places We Keep will have its official live launch at the Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival on April 7 at Badlands Bar in Perth, alongside Australian metal legends Black Steel who are reuniting for a special one off performance with further national tour dates to be added later this year.
