The silly season might be approaching, but here at Groovin the Moo (GTM) we’re looking well into the future and thinking all about the Moo Year. Yes, the dates for GTM 2020 are here and it’s time to schedule in three weekends of fun across April and May.

The GTM 2020 tour will get cracking in Wayville SA on Friday 24 April, (the last Friday of the Term 1 school holidays FYI). Then, we’ll be running into Canberra ACT on Saturday 25 April, then easy (on) over to Bunbury WA on Sunday 26 April.

The following weekend, it’s time to get to Bendigo VIC on Saturday 2 May, then it’s off to sunny side up Townsville QLD on Sunday 3 May. To round out what is set to be an eggcellent tour, GTM will finish up in Maitland NSW on Saturday 9 May.

Amazingly, throughout GTM 2020, there’s a public holiday or spare weekend day to relax and relive your Moo moments. Wayville has a full weekend, Canberra, Bendigo and Maitland have a Sunday recovery day and Townsville and Bunbury are both luxurious long weekends.

Start planning your best disco-fits, because each of our six fave regions are set to sizzle! Get amongst it and explore every corner of our WayvilleMaitland and Townsville festivals in 2020. Who knows what you might find behind a door, around a corner, or even when you’re using the facilities!

In Canberra, we will be returning to our new home at EPIC and paying our respects to our all those who have served our country with a special ANZAC Day tribute, when the gates open.

Not only is Bunbury home to beautiful beaches, and a pretty amazing dolphin centre, the local council has thrown its support behind the festival to ensure it stays put for the next five years. More like Funbury! City of Bunbury Mayor Gary Brennan said “We are delighted that our association with GTM will continue for a further five years as the festival brings significant benefits to the City of Bunbury.”

Bendigo continues to embrace its arts and community projects and we’re taking it to the next level in 2020, with heaps of colourful and interactive spaces
