WA band, Cloning this week have released their new single All Rise, a song that is influenced by Nordic mythology and is about questionable morality within groups of people and the decisions they make in the name of their chosen cause.  Drawing upon influences like PortisheadNick Cave and the Bad Seeds and RadioheadCloning create an atmospheric track incorporating synthesizers, mandolin and guitar teamed with distinctive vocals.

The video for All Rise is a clever, self-made claymation clip based on a Nordic mythology story about the Yggdrasil, a mythical ash tree at the centre of the cosmos.  The four band members spent a long weekend set building, creating, directing and shooting what was a very finicky and labour intensive 40 hours of footage to then be edited by Jake Crawford (Psychedelic Porn Crumpets).

After scoring a WAM Song of the Year nomination for Epilogues and touring nationally last year, the guys are keen to hit the stage again to play their launch at the Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough on Friday March 13.
