The Great Southern Nights concert series kicked off with a Godzilla night of unplugged performances at Sydney’s Metro Theatre. Up and coming Sydney artist, Ula, initiated the night with a variety of original songs to set the stage, before Camp Cope singer Georgia Maq warmed up the audience with a round of her own solo tracks.

Much loved Australian icons; The Veronicas had a warm welcome to the stage, presenting a set that was much different to their June 2021 Godzilla vs. Human tour. Stripped back, but not lacking in anything, the girls gave a great unplugged performance celebrating seventeen years of original favourites.

Their set continued with a heart-warming cover of Ben E. King’s ‘Stand By Me’, before closing with ‘Untouched’ and ‘4ever‘ – which had the crowd going wild.

Our photographer, Christian Ross, was there to hook us up with some great shots from the night.
