Terra have been growing their presence in the Australian alternative scene as they’ve delivered their catchy, explosive and wound-opening pop-rock/ alt-rock that bleeds raw emotion.

They are now stripping that sound back with their new 3-track acoustic EP, ‘Into Deep Blue’ (Out May 29) featuring the brand new single, ‘Song For Maddie’ and acoustic versions of previously released singles ‘Confidence’ and ‘Breaking’.

The intoxicating lyrical sentiments are accented by the accompaniment of backing vocalist Rosie Handley, the mandolin (Steve Cannatelli) and string section all of which gently add to the tenderness of this heart-wrenching track.

Sutton explains the meaning behind ‘Song For Maddie’:

“This song is deeply personal and is written from experience, but it’s also dedicated to anyone who feels like they’re in a dark place. In these situations it’s easy to feel like a burden, so we wanted to send a reassuring message to listeners: the people that love you and care about you want you to ask for help and not suffer alone.
