Our huge, all-day entertainment line-up includes astro-rockabillies Men Into Space and those rockin’ love machines Shaggin’ Wagon. The monster record fair is back on with 50,000-plus rare, collectible, bargain stocking-fillers for the music lovers on your Christmas list. With more than 100 traders, the November market is a Christmas shopping treasure trove of unique, fun, retro-themed goodies, and a great day out for the whole family.

A fabulous line-up of stalls will feature in our Christmas edition, selling quality rock ‘n’ roll, alternative and vintage clothing, jewellery, accessories, posters, cult DVDs, homewares, art, collectibles, retro hair and make-up artists and more. Plus a massive record fair presented by Revolve Records (Erskineville) and Egg Records (Newtown). Vinyl vultures can sift through more than 50,000 LPs and 45s covering alternative, punk, metal, rockabilly, blues, jazz, country, reggae, club, hip-hop and every other genre since the dawn of rock ‘n’ roll.

You’ll also find a café, bars, international food, a vintage and classic vehicle display and kids’ outdoor activities. The entertainment line-up this market features:

Shaggin’ Wagon: “If the band’s rockin’, don’t bother knockin’!” The always sensational Shaggin’ Wagon, rock back up to the market with their kitsch, cool, crazy celebration of dirtier decades.

Men into Space: This Brisbane band delivers astro-themed rockabilly, roots rock ‘n’ roll and beyond. Dressed as astronauts complete with helmets, Men into Space might look like space cadets, but these guys are outstanding touring rockabilly and roots musicians.

Pat Capocci: Lock up your daughters – Australia’s greatest rockabilly delinquent is back to tear up the Manning Bar with his raw, fiery energy.

The Saucermen: This Adelaide neo-rockabilly act have been revving up the City of Churches for years, and shared the stage with many touring greats. This will be their first landing in Sydney.

PLUS DJs Rod Almighty, Rockin’ Marc Rondeau, The Crimplenes and Solid Gold Hell DJs; and MCs Wolfman Dan & the Rockabilly Rhino.

AND! 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll Dancing Beginners Class. Always wanted to give rock ‘n’ roll dancing a try? There’ll be a class for beginners between 10.30am and 11.30am. No prior dance experience or dance partner is required. Class cost is only $11 per person and includes market entry fee. Pre-registration is required.
