Melbourne melodic hardcore/punk band Spectral Fires are gearing up to release their third effort, a four-track EP called ‘Turn Toward the Sun’. A breath of fresh air to Australia’s punk and hardcore scene, Spectral Fires have mastered sweeping, sing-along choruses, dynamic punk grooves and infectious guitar melodies, combining their hardcore roots and punk rock sensibilities to shape a sound that is distinctively their own.

Singer Harry Pratt says that “This new record has been a long time coming for us and we are just about bursting with excitement to finally get new Spectral Fires music out there. Turn Toward The Sun is undoubtedly our most complete work to date, and the best representation of us and music we want to create – we can’t wait for people to hear and hopefully enjoy it, and to get out on tour to play these tracks live!”
 

 
Spectral Fires’ new single ‘Just a Mirage’ will be in stores and streaming outlets from Friday November 2, as will pre-orders for their forthcoming EP, ‘Turn Toward The Sun’.
