This coming weekend kicks off the first year of Ohana –a two-day music festival at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA–featuring performances by Eddie Vedder, Lana Del Rey, Elvis Costello, Band Of Horses and more. Produced by Live Nation and SGE, the festival will take place on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28.
In addition to offering a full day in the sun with a diverse music lineup, Ohana will donate a portion of proceeds to the San Onofre Parks Foundation, a California non-profit that cooperatively works with the California State Parks to develop, preserve and enhance the recreation and experience of California’s unique and beautiful coastal parks.
Festival general admission allows for free roaming throughout the lush grass areas of Doheny State Beach, right off the shore of the Pacific Ocean, touching the sand. Beer, wine, and signature cocktails, as well as artisan food options from local restaurants and food trucks will be available all day long. Additionally, 11-time World Surfing League champion Kelly Slater has teamed up with the Ohana Dana Point to create a surf and ocean awareness exhibit in the festival area.
