Wollongong rockers Satin Cali are today thrilled to share their new single ‘Will I Die’. The release showcases a new side to the quartet, building upon their trademark feel-good indie rock sound with an extra dose of grit and emotion.
“We Wrote ‘Will I Die’ to showcase a sound we haven’t yet shown in our first two releases,” the band explain. “It’s a gritty, melodic driven attempt at an alternative punk sound, whilst keeping an energy and vibe that stays true to Satin Cali.”
Satin Cali channel inspiration from the likes of Violent Soho, Dear Seattle, and Blink-182 on ‘Will I Die’, and the result is an alt-punk anthem that the band says “dives deep into the feeling of falling in love at the wrong time in your life, and having to make tough decisions based on what’s ultimately best for you, no matter how hard that decision may be to make.”
