Murray, who joined Pandora in 2014 to help further leverage its scale and unique technology to create new opportunity and value for artists, labels and the entire music ecosystem, now leads the growing Music Makers Group. In 2015 and 2016, working with artists as diverse as Metallica, Jack White, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Tim McGraw, Mumford & Sons, Young Thug, The Rolling Stones, Odesza, 5 Seconds of Summer, Hermitude and many more, Murray and the MMG team have overseen hundreds of promotional programs – from intimate events to nationwide live streams – helping artists to build audiences, increase their streams, and sell tickets.

Some of those successful campaigns are set to be showcased at Bigsound, where Pandora will be hosting the Artist Green Room (Downstairs at Brunswick & Ann – formerly “The Bank”),where Pandora staff will be on hand to provide info and advice regarding their artist marketing tools. As the name suggests, the green room will also offer a tranquil space for artists, and will feature big screens playing a showcase of PANDORA SESSIONS videos on loop (featuring the likes of Urthboy, Jungle Giants, Elizabeth Rose, HockeyDad & Methyl Ethel) as well as have a masseuse on site offering free massages to artists while they kick back listening to/watching the sessions.
