Northlane’s highly anticipated third album Node has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts, becoming the highest selling album in Australia and outselling the #2 album by 148%. This is the first #1 for Northlane, and the fifth Top 20 album for the UNFD label in 2015.

Node, the Sydney based band’s first album with new vocalist Marcus Bridge, has received critical acclaim across the globe from media in the UK, Germany, USA, Canada and Australia. It was Feature Album on the national triple j network, scored the cover of Blunt Magazine and spent most of its release week on top of the iTunes album chart. The band today leaves Australia to start on the worldwide Node Tour, with nearly 100 headline dates across Canada, USA, UK, Europe and Australia (More US and Asia dates still to be announced).

UNFD signed Northlane in 2011, releasing their debut album Discoveries on 11/11/11 and developing the band on their worldwide label ever since. The label has experienced a huge amount of success with its homegrown roster in Australia this year, with strong debuts by In Hearts Wake (#2, May 2015), Hellions (#19, January 2015), Deez Nuts (#20 May 2015) and Thy Art Is Murder (#7, July 2015) already in 2015. The label will shortly release the third album by iconic Australian rock band Dead Letter Circus, whose new album Aesthesis is out on August 14. The band has amassed consecutive #2 charting albums and over 70,000 sales of their catalogue to date.
