Northamptonshire Metalcore Newcomers Aside From That are back with their visceral new single ‘Hollow Shell’. Drawing influences from Polaris, Architects, and Periphery, ‘Hollow Shell’ encompasses the full spectrum of sonic assault with savage riffs, brutal breakdowns and magnetic vocals.  

Walker speaks on the new single “I try to write something that’s catching to ear while also keeping some new and old aspects of the single. Most of the lyrics come from personal experience in my life so you can expect relatable subjects within every lyric. I delved into my own struggles with mental health which caused me to be distant from everyone around me – the song was born from a strong feeling of loneliness. I’m happy to say that I overcame what I was going through and now have this song to show for it. The recording process was very straight forward as I worked with Brandon at Impactful Sounds Studios for all instrumentals and vocals with Neil at Initiate Sounds”
