With tickets to his first Melbourne show flying out the door immediately upon going on sale today, Nic Cester – the frontman for Australian rock legends Jet – is set to wow fans next month, bringing his new band The Milano Elettrica down under for exclusive headline shows.

Cester will perform a second and final Melbourne show at The Toff In Town on Wednesday 19 April, with his initial date on Thursday 20 April now officially sold out. Tickets for the new show are on sale now via frontiertouring.com/niccester.

Special guest for all shows will be Melbourne singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Olympia (performing solo). Her debut album Self Talk was recently shortlisted for the 2016 AMP Award, with Rolling Stone AU describing it as a “rich realisation of a leftfield vision”. Thanks to triple j playlisted singles ‘Smoke Signals’ and ‘This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things’ singer (real name Olivia Bartley) has been one of the breakout stars of the last 12 months. Watch her perform an excellent cover of Beck’s ‘Dreams’ for Like A Version here.
