Melbourne’s LOSER are excited to officially release their debut single ‘Loser’.

With a sly nod to influences like Weezer, Foo Fighters & Nirvana, LOSER channel their inner-slacker while shamelessly flirting with giddy pop riffs in a way that even Rivers Cuomo would be proud of.

Fresh yet achingly familiar, the track ‘Loser’ is about “trying to navigate the current social climate”, says Maxwell, “feeling isolated, overwhelmed and conflicted between what you feel is right within yourself, and what everyone else is constantly telling you.”

In keeping with the band’s no-fuss approach to well, most things, the video for ‘Loser’ was filmed by Rob Ting at Max Watts in Melbourne barely a week after the song was recorded. Capturing the live energy that came across in the recording, the video evokes all sorts of 90’s nostalgia with it’s VHS aesthetic.

LOSER are heading south to Luca Brasi’s hometown of Launceston next weekend for a wild show at Club 54. Watch this space.
