Clairo, Mitski, Ravyn Lenae, and Yellow Days today reveal details of their Sydney and Melbourne Laneway Festival sideshows. Read on for more information…!

One of the most talked about and enigmatic pop artists to emerge in 2018 is CLAIRO aka 19-year old Claire Cottrill.

She’s been described as “entrancing” and praised for her “innate knack for complex emotions rendered so casually as to be destabilising”.

She has amassed a staggering 100 million+ streams globally and 38 million+ YouTube views, opened for Tyler, The Creator, Dua Lipa, and Brockhampton, and contributed a song to US feature film Skate Kitchen. With current single ‘4EVER’ embraced by tastemakers everywhere and at high rotation on triple jClairo’s debut Australian shows are sure to be dreamy.

Local teen up-and-comers Erthlings will support Clairo on both Australian headline dates.

Hailed as the new vanguard of indie rock, Japanese-American singer-songwriter MITSKI returns to Australia, ready to captivate audiences with a brand new live show and album.

Across five albums, Mitski has delivered carefully crafted songs that have often been portrayed as emotionally raw. On her fifth record, ‘BE THE COWBOY‘, released earlier this year, Mitski introduces a persona that has been teased before but never so fully present until now – a woman in control.

Known for her magnetic on-stage energy, Mitski’s eccentric brand of indie-rock is unlike anything else around. Her live show is garnering international acclaim, accentuated by the artist’s provocative, exaggerated movements; it’s an experience not to be missed.

Chicago R&B newcomer RAVYN LENAE will land in Australia for the first time, ready to woo local audiences with songs from her debut EP ‘CRUSH‘, executive produced by The Internet’s Steve Lacy.

Her sultry single ‘Sticky’ has drawn vast critical acclaim, with Pitchfork declaring it Best New Track while raving that, “Sticky is a steamy affair with a slinky R&B beat, but Lenae sounds like a playfully annoyed lover, glued into a relationship that’s falling apart.” ‘4 Leaf Clover’ featuring Steve Lacy is as punchy as it is alluring.

She has appeared on Noname’s TELEFONE‘ album cut ‘Forever’, toured with SZA, and has released three EP’s in the past three years. Next, Ravyn introduces Australia to her neo-soul at club shows in February.
