American musician, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist Kurt Baker has dropped a vintage 80’s-inspired music video for “Over You,” the lead single off his upcoming solo album ‘After Party’ set for release on October 23.

‘After Party’ marks a return to primo Power Pop form under Kurt’s own name, backed by his bangin’ five-piece American band for the first time in five years. The twelve-song sonic boom of hooks and melodies hits on the heels of two acclaimed albums with Kurt Baker Combo, his four-piece group based in Madrid, Spain, where the native of Portland, Maine has resided for some years now.

Kurt says in an interview: “The first single and video from my new album is the track ‘Over You’, and I’m really excited about how it came out. I worked with a very talented director here in Madrid named Trash Diamond, who is well known for his great visual aesthetic, which in this case fits the song perfectly. It’s a vintage 1980’s telethon that reaches chaotic proportions when an anti-rock n’ roller wants to see it all go haywire. Big rock n roll riffs with lots of explosions! Woohoo!”
