Following the announcement that one of Australia’s most successful rock bands of all time, Jet, are reforming to hit the road with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in February 2017, comes the news that the band will be reissuing their first two albums Get Born and Shine On on vinyl, CD and digitally on November 25. Both the CD and digital reissues will come with rare previously unreleased digitally re-mastered recordings from each period.

Of the bonus discs, Chris Cester, founding member, drummer and songwriter says:
“Once the ball started rolling, things were happening quickly and we needed more songs to round out the set. We only had 13 songs. Get Born basically! It was a wild time, and a really creative period. We had pretty much been high for three years straight! These recordings were lost for years but then re-appeared down the line somehow.”

Jet’s follow up album Shine On followed in 2006 and was rammed full of another collection melodic rockers including ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, ‘Bring It On Back’ and ‘Rip It Up’, and achieved platinum status in Australia on the back of stand-out headline shows around the world, and an unforgettable Big Day Out run in 2007.
