Harts, it can now be revealed, was recruited to take part in the recording of an international artist anthem for the recent Rio de Janeiro Olympics titled ‘The Fire’, alongside the likes of musical superstars like Questlove of The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, the UK’s Corrine Bailey Rae and more.

Although the song never received an official release during the Olympics campaign, this recently surfaced interview feature shows all the artists involved in the recording and discusses how they found inspiration from the theatre and glory that is the Olympics and the competitive Olympic spirit.

Harts mastermind Darren Hart has a particularly poignant contribution to the song, as a former track and field star himself here in Australia and as the son of former champion Indian athletes.

“I started doing track and field athletics as a kid,” Harts explains in the video. “It taught me a lot about life and a lot about self-discipline and things like that that I now use in my music.”
