Melbourne alt-rock five piece Harbours and Sydney punks Our Past Days are hitting the road together next month for a six date tour.

Breaking out of the hardcore and punk scene that they were born into, Harbours have progressed into a darker, more emotive and brooding force; channeling grunge, post-rock and emo into a more mature and focused entity. Priding themselves on their DIY attitude to all things band related, they have written, recorded and mastered their debut EP, Nothing Stays The Same which was released independently in January of this year.

With several international tours under their belts including Neck Deep, The Story So Far and Silverstein and tours further afield around the country with Funeral For A Friend and With Confidence, Harbours are primed to deliver an on point set of modern post rock to their fans on this co-headline tour.

Being a band from Sydney isn’t the claim to fame it once was. Shrinking venues, the tyranny of distance and sub par public transport (at least compared to Melbourne) mean that bands from that town are having a tougher time these days than they used to reaching beyond the dust bowl.

It’s been through great determination and sacrifice that Our Past Days have done just that. Formed in 2013 and releasing their first single at the end of 2015, OPD have toured tirelessly all over the country, snagging some pretty impressive supports along the way.

Touring nationally with global heavyweights including The Wonder Years, Kucklepuck, Man Overboard and several others, their work ethic has impressed many and their super tight live show that’s unpredictably chaotic and driven by hard-hitting vocals and emotional grit has impressed even more!
