The sheer intensity and relentless energy of Melbourne’s four-piece Gold Class, has today been delivered in their latest single Kids On Fire. Recorded at Tropical Fuckstorm Studios and produced by Aaron Cupples (The Vaccines, The Drones, Paul Kelly) Kids On Fire.
Lead singer Adam Curley’s crooning bravado and distinguished tone cuts through the surrounding wall of sound held by band mates Evan Purdey (guitar), Jon Shub (bass), and Mark Hewitt (drums). Wailing lyrics, teamed with a rolling bass and drumbeat, overlayed with delicately weaved guitar strings.
Gold Class are about to embark on an international tour, hitting the UK and Europe in October/November. Before they do, they will be leaving local fans with a parting gift, playing a handful of intimate sold-out shows in Melbourne. The band are also set to headline Paradise Music Festival in November.
