Dropkick Murphys will be premiering the music video for their new single, “Queen Of Suffolk County,” from their forthcoming album Turn Up That Dial, due out April 30 via band-owned Born & Bred Records.
Before the premiere, two Dropkick Murphys’ band members will host a Q&A to answer fans’ questions and discuss the new video. The Q&A will begin today (Thursday, April 15) at 5:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM PT, followed by the music video premiere at 5:45 PM ET / 2:45 PM PT, via the Dropkick Murphys YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/sB31OkEYEDc
The music video for the track was filmed in Boston by the band’s longtime friend Mark Higgins, who also directed the iconic music video for “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.”
“Queen Of Suffolk County” follows the album’s tongue-in-cheek single “Middle Finger”, which was accompanied by a Kes Glozier-directed video shot in London just before the band’s last show before the pandemic. Watch the “Middle Finger” video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEqniZcaU6Y
Turn Up That Dial was produced by Ted Hutt and is available for pre-order now. With the 11 tracks on Turn Up That Dial, Dropkick Murphys celebrate the simple pleasure of music, the relief and release from worry that comes when you “turn up that dial” and blast your troubles away.
