Brisbane’s Cub Sport spent the weekend popping up in the iTunes singles chart after their current single ‘Come On Mess Me Up’ was played live on triple j’s ‘Like A Version’ alongside a blistering cover of Kanye West’s ‘Ultralight Beam’.

Showcasing their amazing vocal harmonies and electronic indie fusion, the band’s appearance has also pushed their album ‘This Is Our Vice’ up the charts after a huge few months which have seen them support The 1975 across Australia, play dates across the US, UK and Europe and achieved some amazing radio feats. As well as high rotation on triple j, the band have hit airwaves internationally with BBC1 tastemaker Huw Stephens championing the band and stations as diverse as the UKs Amazing Radio and Japan’s J-Wave Radio jumping on board the Cub Sport bandwagon. And to top it all off, the band’s Australian tour which kicks off this week in Brisbane has completely sold out.

Joining them for the tour will be Brisbane songstress Clea. Recently returned from a UK/EU tour, and announced for BIGSOUND
