Adelaide’s alt-rock champions colourblind have returned with their brand new anthem,  “Longsleeves”, and news of a headline show in Adelaide on November 19 at Lion Arts Factory.

Following on from their previous singles “Seatbelt” (2020) and “Changing Seasons” (2021), “Longsleeves” rounds out an incredible trifecta of singles from Adelade’s next breakout band. Another bold leap forward in colourblind’s artistic progression, “Longsleeves” arrives with a deliciously grunge riff and an electrifying ‘woah-oh’ that’s gonna feel oh-so-good to sing with your mates when live music returns around the country. An ode to being young, ignorant and confused, “Longsleeves” is self-reflective song about learning to let go, growing up and moving on.

Frontman Finn Cameron says: “Longsleeves is about a time in my adolescence that has absolutely shaped the way I have grown into a young adult. A few bands in Adelaide started acting too big for their boots, this included me. I fell in love with Oasis and the rockstar persona. Arrogance and confidence. I thought I found the secret but I soon realised how warped my image of cool was. Something ticked over at some point though and I realised how much of a spoiled little brat I was being. Something else ticked over and I realised how stupid all these kids looked. Wearing their longsleeves and following the trends.”
