Sydney-based punk rock group Clay J Gladstone have today revealed an adrenaline-charged visualiser video for their new single ‘Balance’ – filmed, directed, and edited by the band’s guitarist Johnny David.

The video features the band singing the song together at Karaoke Bar in Sydney, with both English and Japanese lyric subtitles for added aesthetic. Featuring quick cut transitions, handheld camera shenanigans and sensuous neon lighting, the video clip is a nod to the group’s festivity.

Clay talks about the concept behind ‘Balance’:

“Johnny is obsessed with Japanese culture and we’re all Karaoke bar tragics, so we thought it would be a super cool idea for a visualizer / lyric video. I hate stress and as soon as you don’t call it a music video it removes most of the expectation – so it works well for me.”
