To cap off what’s been an incredible year, Camp CopeGeorgia Maq (vocals, guitar), Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich (bass) and Sarah Thompson (drums) – have announced their final headline show of 2016 at the Northcote Social Club on Saturday 17 December with very special guests Harmony and Two Steps on the Water. Tickets are on sale now via the venue.

Camp Cope have had a mammoth year to say the least. They have been touring tirelessly, playing for audiences all over the country: shows with Modern Baseball, Screaming Females and Cayetana, a headlining slot on Weekender Fest, plus upcoming shows with PUP, a national Laneway Festival spot and more. Their brilliant cover of ‘Maps’ by Yeah Yeah Yeahs for Like A Version has had over 55,000 views in the week and a half since they went live in the triple j studios, and their stunning self-titled debut album is still receiving praise from all corners of the world.

In September Camp Cope together with bands and musicians from Australia and abroad united for the It Takes One campaign to say enough is enough: no more sexual and physical assault at shows. The campaign echoed across the world with coverage on every major media publication and continues to drive the conversation around safe spaces at shows on the local level where it counts the most.

Camp Cope will be joined by Harmony, the six-piece who tread unchartered waters with their combination of haunting chaos and three-part gospel vocals, and the sublime Two Steps on the Water bringing their new-folk punk and incredible live performance to life for one final hoorah for 2016.
