UNFD are proud to announce Buried In Verona for landing a top 20 debut in last weeks ARIA chart, securing the #17 spot with their new album Vultures Above, Lions Below.

Buried In Verona openly discussed overcoming obstacles in order to write and record Vultures Above, Lions Below, and these are also evident in the songs and lyrics. The band wanted to embrace their fans and encourage them to be a part of the album as much as possible so for single ‘Hurricane‘, they asked fans to submit a piece of negativity anonymously via their website which they printed out each evening and live-streamed every day for a week. They then burned these pieces of negativity during the filming of the video.

Drummer James Swanson said of the collaboration with their fans, “This is really the essence of what this new album represents: a chance to let go and close a chapter of negativity, and begin to move away from feeling like you’re held back or weighed down. Everything you want to achieve and accomplish is truly possible.”

Vultures Above, Lions Below was mixed and mastered by world renowned engineers Fredrik Nordström and Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Soilwork) at Studio Fredman in Sweden, the album was written produced, and recorded entirely by the band.
Receiving favourable reviews worldwide, it’s the most powerful, honest and most exciting album to ever wear the Buried In Verona name.
