Brisbane’s Bugs are well and truly on the rise, with the release of their first single of 2020, ‘Can’t Get Enough’, receiving an abundance of support across the country including a triple j Good Nights premiere and places atop many a ‘Best New Releases’ list. Today, the delightful trio unveil the track’s accompanying music video, themed around addition and greed in modern society. Frontman Connor Brooker explains:

When I first started writing the song, it was specifically about attention in an intimate context – aka SEX – but as it evolved I felt like it better suited a broader representation of greed in modern society. So it’s about the cycle of how our entitlement feeds our addiction, leading us in the pursuit of an unattainable goal or horizon.”

The video arrives ahead of a busy next few months for the band, which will see Bugs perform an intimate run of sold out socially distanced shows at iconic Brisbane venue The Zoo next month, as well as joining The Chats and Being Jane Lane on the lineup for Airwaves – The Drive In Music Festival, before setting out with fellow Brissy pals WAAX on their national album run in October.
